Nina Tobin Dip. PRFHC - Foot Health Practitioner

From a young age, I knew I wanted to make people feel valued, respected, and cared for. This belief led me to build a lifelong career in health and social care. In 2011, I established my own Domiciliary Care Company after witnessing the lack of quality support in the community, gaining extensive experience caring for vulnerable individuals in their own homes. My journey has included roles in dementia and end-of-life care, acute brain injury rehabilitation, eating disorder services, and management positions in sheltered housing schemes, giving me a deep understanding of complex care needs.

I later trained as a Foot Health Practitioner to meet the growing need for accessible, high-quality foot care, especially for housebound and vulnerable clients. This work reignited my passion for hands-on care, continuous learning, and community support. Guided by the same values, Vicki and I joined forces to bring expert, compassionate foot health
care to both clinic and mobile settings, including local nursing homes.

Outside of my professional work, I am passionate about nutrition, foraging, yoga, and holistic wellbeing. I live a busy, family-centred life, grounded in love, devotion, and a belief that kindness truly changes lives. I am proud to be fulfilling the promise I made as a child — to make a difference in the way people are cared for and treated.

Vicki Cooper Dip. PRFHC - Foot Health Practitioner

One of my favourite quotes is, “Find something you love to do, and you will never work a day in your life.”

After years of searching, I finally found that passion in healthcare. At 18, I began working in care and quickly discovered how much I loved supporting people—especially the older generation, whose life stories and resilience inspired me. When my father became ill with cancer in 2012, I cared for him at home until his peaceful passing in 2013. During this time, he encouraged me to pursue nursing and follow my true calling.

I joined Abbey House Medical Practice later that year, where I worked in clinical care, including blood sampling, ECG monitoring, and wound management. My greatest passion became lower-limb health and leg-ulcer care, leading me to specialise further as a Foot Health Practitioner.

In 2021, I took the step into self-employment, allowing me to dedicate my work solely to lower-limb and foot health while creating a better work-life balance for my family. I later gained additional clinical experience working alongside a local podiatrist before joining forces with Nina.

Today, I am proud to work at Sole at Heart Foot & Health Clinic, where I combine clinical expertise with compassion and personal experience to support every patient’s comfort, mobility, and confidence.
